Thailand

Last week the government of Thailand announced that starting next month the mandatory quarantine period will be shorter. The step after that would be opening key tourist spots, like Phuket, to international passengers once 70% of the population is vaccinated. Lastly, there are plans to fully reopen for tourism by October 1, 2021. Now it is official! Starting July 1, all vaccinated passengers arriving in Phuket will not be obligated to quarantine. The government of Spain announced that the ban on the sea and air arrivals from the UK will be lifted on March 30, 2021. Back in December Spain introduced a ban on all arrivals from the UK and after 3 months it is finally being lifted! You can read more here!

Indonesia

After a year of closed borders and a decline in tourism, Bali might be looking at a tourist-filled summer season starting July. The government of Indonesia announced plans to reopen Bali for international arrivals! You can read more here!
