The Museum of Science and Industry is situated on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Illinois. It's the biggest of its kind in the western hemisphere and one of the largest in the world. The landmark building opened in 1933 and houses more than 35,000 artifacts in 400,000 square feet of interactive involvement.

The museum is open daily 9.30am – 4pm every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ticket prices are $11 for children, $17 for seniors and $18 for adults, or you can buy ticket packages to include the special exhibits.
