1) Two weekend nights at any Hilton hotel
While Hilton has devalued it's award chart - the Citi Hilton HHonors Reserve Card still let's you choose any Hilton hotel for the free two nights. An obvious choice is one of the Hilton resorts in the Maldives which often publishes rates of $1,000/night. This is a great value use for your free night certificates.
2) Earn a free night every year if you spend $10,000 on the card
If you are a heavy spender $10,000 should be nothing and a free night at any Hilton can replace a $1,000 nightly rate. For each dollar spend at Hilton resorts you will earn 10 Hilton Honors points. For all other purchases it will be 3 points per dollar spend. $1,667 spend at a local supermarket will get you a free night at Hilton category 1 hotels.
3) EMV chip on card
The electronic chip function (with or without a PIN) is what you need for using a credit card in many European countries. Don't travel without it!
4) No annual fee for the first year
The annual fee is waived the first year. Annual Fee $95.
5) No foreign exchange fee
A travel card that charges a foreign exchange fee? Not this card!
6) Comprehensive Insurance Package
The card includes the following insurance benefits:
Auto Rental Collision Damage Waiver
Lost Luggage Reimbursement
Travel Accident Insurance
Travel and Emergency Assistance Services
7) Zero Fraud Liability
When you travel your credit card details will be exposed to many merchants. I had credit cards compromised but a call to my bank ALWAYS made sure that I get a new card and any fraudulent charges were taken off my account.
