Norwegian Air has launched a new co-brand Mastercard. Synchrony Bank has introduced the Norwegian Reward Card for the US market! This is a big move from Norwegian as they have more than 1.4 million members in their rewards program in the US.

Norwegian Air launches US Rewards Credit Card
Norwegian Air uses an award currency called CashPoints. You can use CashPoints for flight purchases, seat assignments, and luggage fees. The new credit card, in partnership with Synchrony, will allow customers to earn more CashPoints. You can apply for the card online on their website!

The new Norwegian Card benefits
This card comes with a mediocre welcome bonus but it has no annual fee. It is perfect for all those Norwegian frequent flyers! Some details of the card:
- $50 in CashPoints with $500 in purchases in the first 90 days
- 2% extra on Norwegian flights
- 2% on dining and grocery
- 1% on all other purchases
- Anniversary bonus of $100 in CashPoints with $20k spend each year starting on account open date
- Redeem CashPoints anytime on any Norwegian flight with no blackout dates and no minimum spend requirement
- CashPoints valid for two extra years. That makes them valid for the current earning year plus four years
- You get priority boarding, which is perfect for frequent flyers
- No foreign transaction fees
