– Pointshound is offering 2,500 AAdvantage miles for ANY booking by Oct 31st
I can’t see any restrictions for new customers or a minimum value spend. The hotels I pulled up in Hanoi show the same prices as in other booking engines and you get 2,500 AA miles on top of it. Fantastic deal!
– Norwegian is reporting $200 million in profits for Q3 – cash flow isn’t mentioned in the Press Release (this is the bigger problem for Norwegian)
Most of those profits stem for a booking period as much as 15 months ago. Now almost all legacy carriers have dropped prices for Trans-Atlantic flights and Norwegian is often on the expensive side. This winter will be brutal for all Trans-Atlantic LCCs cash flow. Full service carriers seem to have gotten a boost from more Premium Class bookings and are ready to sacrifice revenue/ profits from the Economy section if they can drive the LCCs into bankruptcy.
