What’s the deal with the Chase World of Hyatt Credit Card?
New cardmembers can earn a whopping 40,000 bonus points, when you spend just $3,000 on purchases in the first three months. Not only that but if you spend at least $6,000 on purchases in the first six months, you get another 20,000 bonus points! So that’s worth up to an amazing 12 nights at Hyatt properties.
Free nights start at only 5,000 points each, so you could use the 60,000 bonus points for up to 12 nights at Category 1 properties, or you could choose to spend more of your points for shorter stays at higher Category hotels.
With this card, you earn:
No less than 9 points per dollar spent with your card at Hyatt hotels (including participating restaurants and spas); you get 4 Bonus Points per dollar spent with your card and 5 Base Points per dollar as a World of Hyatt member.
You also earn:
- 2 points per dollar spent at restaurants, cafes and coffee shops
- 2 points per dollar spent on taxis, mass transit, tolls and ride-share services
- 2 points per dollar spent on airline tickets (purchased directly from the airline)
- 2 points per dollar spent on fitness club and gym memberships
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other card purchases
Additionally, on your cardmember anniversary, you get a free night in a Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel or resort and if you spend at least $15,000 on purchases during your cardmember anniversary year, you get another free night in a Category 1-4 Hyatt hotel or resort. So you could actually earn at least 14 nights a year with this excellent card!
There are no foreign transaction fees with this card and you get travel and purchase coverage as standard.
The annual fee for this card is $95 (not waived).

What else do I need to know about the Chase World of Hyatt Credit Card deal?
This product is available if you do not already have this card and have not received a new cardmember bonus for this card in the past 24 months. Plus it’s only available to US residents who have a valid permanent home address within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia.
However, this card is not covered by Chase’s 5/24 policy which restricts approvals if you have had more than five Chase cards in the last 24 months. Even if you had five (or more), you will get approved as long as your credit is good enough.
