What’s the scoop on the automated Bank of America locations?
Bank of America is now testing fully-automated branches. Customers can use automated teller machines and video-conferencing technology to speak to employees at other branches. You’ll be able to access the video-conferencing with your ATM card or debit card from Bank of America or another bank, to use when applying for credit cards, mortgages, auto loans and suchlike.
There’s 3 new completely automated locations in cities including Minneapolis and Denver. The financial giant has been cutting costs in ways such as employee-less branches. 50 to 60 new branches are expected to be opened over the next year, but how many of these are to be automated is yet to be seen.
