– United is planning to retire their 747 fleet as early as summer 2017

This is great news as San Francisco is the last major US hub with a 747 predominance. United’s 747 are often is rather sad shape inside and I’m susceptible to even more headaches. Good riddance!

Delta has 22,000 miles RoundTrip on sale to Mexico

This can be a great offer if you live in a rather remote area that is served well by Delta. That taxes and fees for a Round Trip to Mexico are usually around $70 which adds to the total price.

Mexico City has been on sale from many cities around the $200 mark – so a paid ticket might be a better option.

– JetBlue is done with equipping their planes with high-speed WiFi

I had a chance to use it last week and loved the gate-to-gate feature but speeds were still not exactly high-speed.
