Emirates puts A380 on Doha route, State Department adds Turkey warning, American has another emergency

Emirates has decided to upgrade one daily flight from Dubai (DXB) to Doha (DOH) to an A380. While initially this sounds ludicrous – the route has a big number of daily 777 flights already – upgrading one for the rush hour timing seem like a good idea:

The Emirates A380 will be deployed as EK 841, which will depart Dubai at 0745hrs arriving in Doha at 0805hrs. The return flight, EK 842 will depart Doha at 0950hrs arriving in Dubai at 1200hrs.

This is not reflected in the GDS yet and changes can happen at any time. At $1,000 per one-way it is also not exactly cheap.
