Is it worth it to buy Mileage Plan, Rapid Rewards, LifeMiles or Avios with these deals?
It can make sense to buy Mileage Plan if you can find use with certain partners; otherwise it may only be useful if you need to top off an award.
It’s difficult to justify buying Rapid Rewards with this bonus unless you have a specific redemption in mind.
LifeMiles recently had a 140% bonus, so it may be worth waiting for a higher bonus again, unless you need a top-up of miles now.
You can buy Iberia Plus Avios at a better price than BA Avios with these current offers, but remember that you need an active Iberia account which is at least 90 days old if you want to transfer points from BA.
It’s quite often the case that it’s only really worth buying or gifting points only when they are needed, rather than buying speculatively.
