On September 15th this year, Experian discovered a breach of T-Mobile data housed in one of their servers. The isolated incident included access to a server that held personal information for consumers who applied for a T-Mobile USA postpaid service between the dates of September 1st, 2013 and September 16th, 2015.

If you applied for one of these services between these dates, you are now eligible for two years of free ProtectMyID membership as a way for Experian to apologize for the breach. The service offer multiple layers of protection to help protect your identity online.
