During my last layover at LAX I had the chance to visit the Qantas First Class Lounge at LAX.
LAX’s Tom Bradley International Terminal has slowly become my favorite international departure terminal.
The Qantas First Class Lounge (LAX), Los Angeles, TBIT serves not just Qantas passengers but also other Oneworld partners flights such as British Airways and Cathay Pacific?
I flew from Los Angeles to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific First Class (Review) last October and the lounge wasn’t ready yet. While a good lounge the Oneworld Business Class lounge at LAX was crowded and easily beyond capacity.
Now the Qantas First Class lounge at LAX is equally huge – and in a very similar style than the Business Class lounge (which is operated by British Airways). The layout is a bit too bright and not private enough if you ask me. While stylish it looks more like a Business Class lounge.
There is an a la carte menu to order from and it indeed reads very nicely. I have heard great things about the quality of the steaks and champagne as well as wine in the lounge. However I did not try to myself (yet).
How was your experience Qantas First Class Lounge (LAX)?
