What’s the deal with the Southwest Airlines credit cards?
We’ve posted about these Southwest Airlines personal cards before, and for good reason. 50,000 points is a huge bonus, and if you are successful in your application for both cards, you nearly have enough points for a free Companion Pass. This highly valuable tool lets you fly with a friend or family member for free, free of carrier charges, even on award tickets. For 110,000 points, Companion Pass status is valid for the rest of the current year and all of the following year, so depending on when you earn it, you could benefit from it for two years.

How do I get the Southwest Airlines credit cards deal?
What else do I need to know about the Southwest Airlines credit cards deal?
Chase is pretty generous about repeat bonuses. If you’ve had one of these cards in the past, you can still get this new bonus offer, as long as you have not received a new cardmember bonus for the product in the past two years.
We let you know that Rapid Rewards was making changes to its program in April. The changes were small, but significant, as the pricing was made more dynamic. Nevertheless, you can still get some great deals with 50,000 Rapid Rewards if you apply for one of these credit cards; this huge amount of points is certainly still one of the better deals out there for travel rewards credit cards, as 50k Rapid Rewards is worth several hundred dollars in Wanna Get Away fares. With Southwest, you can use these points for domestic or international flights, including the Caribbean and Mexico.
