Hyatt credit cardholders get a 20% rebate of Hyatt Gold Passport award redemptions

Posted on February 17, 2015 by in World of Hyatt

What's the deal?

Existing Hyatt credit cardmembers can take advantage of a very generous offer right now – Get 20% of your Hyatt Gold Passport points back after you redeem them!

UPDATE: Hyatt have confirmed on Twitter that if you made an advance booking with points prior to the promotion, as long as your stay dates are within the promotional period, you will still earn the 20% point rebate!

How do I get the deal?

Hyatt credit cardmembers (who have had their card since at least 1/31/2015) can register for the promotion here between now and March 31st 2015.

Then book with your points and complete the stay before July 31st 2015 and you'll get 20% of your points right back into your Hyatt Gold Passport account 4-6 weeks after your completed stay.

What else do I need to know?

With this promotion, a category 7 award that's normally 30,000 points per night will be just 24,000 points!

This promotion isn't just for room redemptions – you get 20% back on all the Hyatt Gold Passport points that you redeem for award stays, points + cash, suite upgrades and dining and spa activities as long as the stay is completed by July 31st.

Not bad for existing Hyatt credit cardholders – just a shame new applications won't qualify for this offer!
