What's the current Rapid Rewards enrollment promotion code?
There's no current promotion code as such, but when you sign up directly with Southwest Rapid Rewards, there's a 500 points enrollment bonus, which is only awarded when you sign up for both reports and email updates.
You get 250 points when you sign up to the Rapid Rewards Report and 250 points when you sign up for the Rapid Rewards E-mail Update. You need to stay subscribed for three months and only then will the 500 points be deposited into your account.
Is there another Rapid Rewards enrollment promotion code I can use?
Finding a new, valid Rapid Rewards enrollment promotion code seems to be impossible, as the current main way to get enrollment bonuses is just by signing up directly. There is a promotion code box on the enrollment page for times when we do find a code, however:.
In the past, we've found the odd code to get a small point bonus or been given a promotional code from Southwest to use for referrals, earning both the current member and the new member extra points. But at the moment there doesn't seem to be a code around.
Finding a link with a decent enrollment offer that's available now can also be hard work with little reward. In the past, there have been better enrollment offers than the one available today. In March this year, it was 750 points bonus. In February, it was a 2,500 points sign-up bonus, which included 2,000 points simply for enrolling, without having to sign up for emails or updates.
If you don't yet have a Rapid Rewards account, it may well be worth waiting for a special offer like this instead. Either way, it's not a huge amount of points, but every little helps.
A much better way of earning Rapid Rewards is by signing up to a credit card like the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Premier, which offers a whopping 50,000 points after a $2,000 spend in 3 months, as we wrote about recently.
