JetBlue has lowered the threshold for award redemptions to 3,500 TrueBlue points per one-way flight.
I did a quick search on what this can get you and it yielded this:
The 7,000 points replace the fare but you are required to pay the extra taxes leaving Bermuda.
7,000 points replace two one-way fares of $112 each.
This gives you a value per point of 3 cents which is pretty good for economy flights! A redemption on American Airlines which also flies this route would cost 15,000 Avios round trip plus taxes.
However, it gets better – American Express is running a 25% transfer bonus to JetBlue TrueBlue until 9/15. So you just need to transfer 5,750 American Express Membership rewards!
This gives you 4 cents in value for each American Express Membership Rewards point. Awesome value if you are in for a weekend trip to Bermuda!
