Evolve Money to only accept one payment per month(!)

In our CNN article in June we shared tips how to manufacture 1 million airline miles.

Part of the manufactured spend techniques is to liquidate a rather large amount of gift cards. Walmart and Evolve Money were part of this strategy and made it really easy.

Unfortunately, my local Walmarts have stopped accepting gift cards for loading Bluebird or buying money orders.

Now Evolve Money have sent out this email:

Dear Evolve Money Customer,

Due to changes in our risk and regulatory compliance policies, Evolve Money will be implementing a limit of one payment per biller account per month. This change takes effect September 1, 2014. There are no limits on the number of cash payments made with a Reloadit pack or Evolve Pay Bucks.
We realize that some of our users have taken advantage of the multiple payments per month to pay off larger expenses such as mortgages. We are currently working on ways to improve the bill paying experience for you and expect to announce details soon

This stings – and reduces the ability to manufacture spend.

I'm still very fond of the AMEX for Target for manufactured spend but it involves lots of fees and limits.

What is your new favorite 'manufactured spend' tool?
