##UPDATE – This deal has expired now – sadly. Sign up for our newsletter to never miss a deal again.

Recently Singapore Airlines launched a new Online Shopping Mall called Krisflyer Spree. The mall operates just like many other online shopping malls that enable you to earn miles.

It has many of the 'normal' deals you'd expect from an online shopping mall. but it also has some very intriguing deals!

These deals are likely to be the deals of the year!

Lifelock 17,077 KF Miles

LifeLock provides a proactive identity theft service, specializing in the prevention of identity theft rather than the reporting of it. LifeLock was founded in 2005 and is already considered the industry leader.

Now the purchase conditions also note:

Please note: the stated reward is for purchasing LifeLock Basic. You will receive a higher reward for the LifeLock Ultimate and Command Centre. A lower reward will be given for the Credit Score Manager.

For a $9.95 per month subscription you will earn 17,077 Krisflyer miles.

So if you have friends who are interested in Lifelock (which can be a helpful tool) you can sign them up by going through the Lifelock interface (you will need their social security information though).

Now how many miles will we earn?

How do I know how many miles I'll earn?

KrisFlyer Spree will clearly outline how many miles you'll earn. In most cases, this will be expressed as a number of miles earned per USD$10 spent at the merchant.

If a merchant is offering 20 miles per USD$10 spent, and your transaction total is USD$50 (excluding tax and shipping), you can expect to receive 100 miles.
Other merchants may offer a certain number of miles for a single purchase, or by registering for a service with that merchant. In this instance, you'll receive miles for that one action, but not for subsequent actions or purchases on that merchant's site.

The Purchase Conditions state:

New Customers will receive a higher reward when purchasing Ecommerce Premium, Website Design & Development Business Websites Annual and VPS Hosting Annual Package and Monthly Package. You will receive a different reward when purchasing Web Hosting, Website Design & Development and Web Hosting for WordPress and SharePoint monthly package.

Premium Domains at Network Solutions can be searched here. They start from $159 per domain. Searching takes some effort but just add some place holders like 'a' in the search field and sort by price.

According to the stated conditions you will earn 23,077 KF Miles for $159 (and you get to keep the domain). That's less than half a cent per domain!

Note that the Singapore Airlines Krisflyer Spree is open to all global residents. All you need is an account at Krisflyer.

What do I do with the miles?

Keep in mind that you can fly from San Francisco to Hong Kong on Singapore Airlines First Class for just 70,125 when you book online (plus $112.50). If you keep on buying miles for just half a cent you can take the trip for under $350!

Will this really work?

In the past I have participated in a number of shopping mall deals. Most posted automatically or at most with an email or quick phone call. However, sometimes I had to wait longer and argue my case more specifically in lengthy emails to get the miles to issue.

Here is my experience with the Lifemiles estore and the Hilton Honors Shop-to-Earn mall (Loylogic) .

It is hard to say how this deal will go. It is very good and I expect Krisflyer to push back but eventually honor the deal. Singapore Airlines is known to honor all mistake fares for revenue tickets.
