If you've read some of my Hyatt articles, you'll know that I love being a Diamond member of the chain. Just a few things I enjoy are free breakfasts, upgraded rooms, and kowtows from the staff for my loyalty. Still, in the hierarchy of things, as much as I love having top tier status, I love smoking hot deals even more. In that vein, AirBNB has released a great promotion that gets you one free night (up to $300) when you book one of their listings for a minimum of two nights.
For the uninitiated, AirBNB is a company that lists private residences as a kind of hotel/vacation stay. I've only used them once, but the general consensus from the travel community is that the company is well run and most people have a positive experience. Click through the website, punch in your city and check in times, and at checkout, type in "ONENIGHT" as the code to get one night free.
If your nightly rate is more than that, the discount will only be up to $300. To maximize this, I'd advise either going really cheap and getting a sub $100/night listing for a truly budget experience, or get something as close to $300/night as possible to maximize the savings from the promotion. If you really want to maximize for a longer stay, book two nights for yourself and have your friend or partner book another two nights immediately after your stay. You should be able to tack on four nights for the price of two.
There are a few caveats in getting this deal. Firstly, you need to be a new user, although that shouldn't be a problem as you can just set up a new account. Secondly, you must book this deal by end of day 1/17/14, so book now. Thirdly, you must stay using this code by 4/31/14. I'm a huge American football fan and I was looking to go to Las Vegas during Superbowl weekend the last weekend of January. This is a perfect way to try the Trump Tower condos I've heard so much about and get a great deal in the process. I hope that all of you are able to take full advantage of this deal.
Tom Brady approves of this post and is going to throw 5 TD's this Sunday (along with 4 TD's from LaGarette Blount) to wipe out the Broncos.
