DeltaPoints highlights an email which was originally sent to all SkyBonus members.
The card allows you to earn 20,000 MQMs and 35,000 Delta Skymiles bonus miles after $5,000 spend. It is a business card and you will need your employer identification number (you may use your social as sole proprietor) in order to apply.
The offer is not available to these current AMEX card holders:
Welcome bonus offer not available to applicants who have had this product or any other Delta SkyMiles Business Credit Card account within the last 12 months.
The card also provides Priority Boarding and First bag free for tickets booked through the delta.com website.
The annual fee is rather high with $150. It is not waived for the first year.
Delta SkyMiles are plentiful to earn and can be hard to redeem. However 55,000 are almost enough for a return Economy ticket to Europe. Availability especially in summer can be an issue but it is possible to find seats in Economy with Delta/ Air France.
'Investing' $150 for a flight that easily costs $1,000 excl. fees seems like a good deal to me. If you use the miles towards a business class ticket (100,000 Skymiles) to Europe the value you are getting for your miles can be even higher.
