DEAL ALERT: $100-$250 off roundtrip tickets to Europe for summer and the rest of the year

Rome at Night

Alitalia is giving people $100 off roundtrip coach tickets to Europe between now and the end of the year. All you need to do is join their mailing list with a valid email address. This is a great discount that can be used in the peak summer season, so make sure you sign up all your family members email addresses to receive an e-coupon for each of them to use.

To use the e-coupon you need to book on Alitalia's website, but before you do that, search for the best suited and cheapest fare by using the ITA Matrix.

NB: I've searched for fares between Los Angeles and Rome, but the departure and destination city in the US and in Europe are at your discretion.

To find the cheapest fares on the the ITA Matrix follow these steps:

1) Fill in your departure city and destination city;

2) Under the fillable box marked "Destination" you will see the option of selecting "Advanced routing codes", click this and enter "AZ+" in the fillable boxes under "Departing from" and "Destination". This will get the software to search exclusively for fares marketed by Alitalia;

3) Select "see calendar of lowest fares" if that option has not already been preselected;

4) Enter the earliest date you are able to travel from and your desired length of travel.

Once you find the itinerary you want on the ITA Matrix, simply go to Alitalia's website, select the dates you found, enter your coupon code and get $100 off your itinerary!

The e-coupon that you get for joining the mailing list can also be used for $150 off direct premium economy tickets to Milan and Rome from the US or $250 off business class tickets to Europe from the US, so if you don't want to travel in coach you can still get a great discount.
