After years of flying economy, I finally decided to splurge and book a first class ticket. I was excited but also nervous - was it really going to be worth the extra cost?
From the moment I checked in, the experience was elevated. At the airport, I swiftly breezed through security and relaxed in the spacious first class lounge before my flight. I helped myself to complimentary drinks, snacks, and wi-fi.
Boarding the plane was a cinch and I settled into my plush, private seat. There was so much legroom I could fully extend my legs and cross them comfortably. The wide seat reclined to almost lie-flat and I had easy access to multiple charging ports.
As soon as I got settled, a flight attendant came by to introduce themselves and offer me a pre-departure drink. I chose a refreshing glass of champagne. Soon after, warm mixed nuts were served along with a hot towel for freshening up.
Once we were in the air, the culinary experience began. The menu options were expansive - I chose a smoked salmon appetizer and tender filet mignon for my main. The food was restaurant quality and beautifully plated. I savored every bite.
In between meal services, flight attendants frequently came by my seat to check if I needed anything. I took advantage by ordering premium wines and a dessert. Everything was complimentary.
