I recently had the pleasure of visiting theVirgin Atlantic ClubhouseatLondon Heathrow Terminal 3, and let me tell you, it was an experience fit for royalty. As you make your way through the upper level of the terminal, past security and duty free, you'll find the lounge tucked away, waiting to transport you to a world of luxury and comfort.

Upon entering the lounge, you'll be struck by its sheer size - there are plenty of different areas to relax, work, eat, drink, and have fun. With its modern and funky design, featuring splashes of red and purple accents, the lounge is a feast for the eyes. There's no shortage ofcomfortable seating options, from plush sofas to cozy pods, and each seat comes equipped with power outlets and USB ports.

But the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse is more than just a stylish space - it's packed with amenities and services designed to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. If you're looking for the ultimate airport lounge experience, look no further than this one - it has it all! From a spa that offerscomplimentary treatmentslike massages, facials, manicures, and haircuts (just be sure to book in advance at the reception desk, as availability may vary depending on the time of day and demand) to apool tableand a video game area with PlayStation consoles and VR headsets, this lounge has something for everyone.

If you're in the mood for some entertainment, head over to the cinema room, where you can kick back in a reclining seat and enjoy a movie on the large screen. Or, if you're traveling with kids, they'll love the dedicated play area, complete with toys and books to keep them entertained.

For those who need to get some work done, there's a fully equipped business center with everything you need, including computers, printers, scanners, andfax machines. And if you'd rather relax with a good read, check out the lounge's library, stocked with newspapers, magazines, and books.

But perhaps the real highlight of this lounge is the rooftop garden, where you can take in stunning views of the runway and the terminal while enjoying a drink from the bar (unless it is cold and rainy like when I visited).

Speaking of the bar, it serves a wide variety of drinks, from cocktails to beer to coffee and tea. And if you're feeling peckish, there's a restaurant that serves a la carte meals throughout the day, with options ranging from breakfast items to salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta, curries, soups, desserts, and more. You can even order food and drinks from the roaming staff or use the self-service stations. So why settle for a boring airport lounge when you can enjoy all of these amenities and more?

When it comes to airport lounges, the food and drinks can make or break the experience. Fortunately, theVirgin Atlantic Clubhouse at London Heathrow did not disappoint in this regard@

I visited for dinner (after 8 PM and again for breakfast before 8 AM).

I found both the cold cuts menu and the ala carte options exceptional. If I would have to set up a lounge - this would be my choice of food items - that's how much I was in love with the quality and selection.

But it wasn't just the food and drinks that stood out - the service was exceptional as well. The friendly and attentive staff were always there to check on me, refill my drinks, and clear my plates and glasses promptly. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

The lounge seemed exceptionally quite when I visited after 8 PM but filled up a bit (maybe two dozen passengers at 10 PM). It was quite busy in the morning with most Virgin Atlantic and Delta departure to the US.

Overall, I had an amazing time at the Virgin AtlanticClubhouse and would highly recommend it to anyone flying with Virgin Atlantic or Delta from Terminal 3. It's definitely one of the best lounges out there, with everything you need to make your pre-flight experience enjoyable and memorable.
