– American Express is ending out targeted offers that allow you to earn 2,000 American Express Membership Rewards points after you spend $500 at US restaurants until December 9th

This make it a 5x on restaurants – a good deal if you can hit that threshold!

– Accor is sending out emails with the option to earn 6,000 points (worth 6,000 miles when you transfer on a 1:1 basis) after you stay three times

Many Accor properties in Asia are very cheap so this can be a great deal.

Book by October 8, for stays between September 18th and January 14th, 2019 and earn up to 6,000 bonus Rewards points* on your stays.

Offer valid one time per member, for a maximum of 3 stays of 2 nights or more, between 18 September 2018 and 14 January 2019. Receive up to a maximum of 6,000 Rewards points: 500 Rewards points after your first stay, 2,500 Rewards points after your second stay, and 3,000 Rewards points after your third stay.

– the Uzbekistan government is serious about tourism now and has gotten commitments from the World Bank to brush up their crumbling airports in Samarkand, Bukhara and Tashkent

whenever I’m in Seoul I always feel I spend more time in transport than anything else as most hotels are far from where I want to explore – now the Holiday Inn Express Hongdae, Seoul promises change

Rates start at $81 for many days – for some reason reward nights can’t be booked online yet (but maybe when you call IHG Rewards).
