Air Canada big in Romania, Virgin Atlantic keeps A330, world’s worst long-haul flight now from San Francisco, Priority Pass adds lounges at EWR, IAD, LAX
– Virgin Atlantic is keeping the Air Berlin A330’s for good (I reviewed Air Berlin Business Class last year) and is upgrading them by adding a Premium Economy section but keeping the (in my eyes better) Business Class seat that Air Berlin had installed
– I thought LEVEL was one of the worst long-haul experiences ever – brought down by a miserable ground experience and rude staff – now the airline is moving from Oakland (which is running out of space for international ops) to San Francisco (which is the world’s most delayed major airport)
Despite all the limitations I liked the Virgin Atlantic Club House at LAX.
And yes we predicted the flow of new Priority Pass lounges now Barneys at LAX in Terminal 2 (Delta) is open for those hungry Priority Pass eaters as well. The food looks less than ideal but hey it’s free!
