Vietjet to add Australia route, Singapore Airlines bidding for Air India, Lufthansa cutting growth

– Vietjet is planning to add a flight to Brisbane – further bolstering the ambitions

Vietjet is a well run operation (I just flew them last week again) but their hub at Saigon airport is just not cut out for the amount of passengers it receives (especially during the morning rush).

Brisbane is just beyond the range of an A320 though. Their A320neos on delivery can make it though.

– when Singapore Airlines started out the fledgling company sent a team to learn from Air India about their legendary service – oh well time shave changed but Singapore Airlines may end up being the new owner of Air India if their bid succeeds

Lufthansa is cutting growth for 2018 – the issue? The airline will not receive the planes it expected and can’t serve the rising demand!
