– You can now earn World of Hyatt Rewards at Oasis properties
Sometimes your travel needs go beyond a hotel. Oasis*, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, offers over 2,000 personally vetted homes in prime neighborhoods worldwide like Rome, Barcelona and Punta del Este (Uruguay). Enjoy the authentic feel of a residence with the hotel-like amenities you are accustomed to like in person check-in and checkout, fresh linens, luxury toiletries, internet and a personal concierge. Whether you’re traveling with your family, have a longer stay in mind or need a little more space, consider Oasis home rentals to meet your travel occasion needs.
Oasis looks like a AirBnB on steriods with hotel amenities and a local feel. However the prices are high and the minimum stay requirements of 30 days is ridiculous.
– if you have an American Express Hilton card you can now earn 80,000 Hilton points for referrals (15,000 each)
– American Airlines (as with other Oneworld airlines) are planning to publish Basic Economy flights on transatlantic flights very soon
More choice for consumers is always better and for shorter trips there is no need for bags, meals and seat assignment. Norwegian for a while had under $300 Round Trip fares from the West Coast to their hubs. Let’s see if American is ready to beat this.
– doesn’t it feel like Cathay Pacific (re-)opens a new lounge very week (sadly the SF lounge did not get that treatment yet) – the lounge next up is the Dragonair lounge near Gate 26
