– I went over to Fiji Airways Tabua Club yesterday and register for a loyalty account
Loyalty program membership is typically free but some airline (liek Qantas) charge a small fee (usually waived if you have a coupon code).
However Tabua Club charges FJD 499 (roughly US$233) for the privilege to be a member! That’s turning loyalty programs on its head!
– Expedia.com has a 14% off coupon (needs to be redeemed today) – use LOVETOSAVE14 that’s especially useful if you have Expedia+ Rewards points in your account
Expedia.com has been stingy with coupon codes lately but Orbitz has a 15% and Cheaptickets a 16% coupon most of the time. Keep in mind that the Expedia and Orbitz coupon codes work with a good number of chains like Hyatt and Starwood.
– the new list of Pointbreaks hotels now features hotels for 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000 points hotels but the list will now be 200 hotels strong instead of 100) and some hotels seem like an excellent redemption
The full list will come out on Monday – book early as the rooms are limited per property and day. HT PointswithaCrew
– Africa now has an Open Skies Agreement!
