Like many other major hotel brands and travel providers, Starwood Hotels & Resortsis known for offeringdiscounted rates to travel agents, either for the agents themselves or for them to book on behalf of their clients. Unlike other hotel brands, though, in the past there was no particular code to enter on Starwood to get the preferential rates, as they could only be booked through Starwood reservation offices.

However, the special rates cannot be booked through reservation offices anymore; there's now a dedicated website called SPG Pro, where travel professionals can access the rates online once the first training module has been completed. The online training program, ProLearning,is where travel professionals can learn more about the Starwood brand and its global properties while expanding knowledge of local areas, and the only place where travel agents can get the discounted rates for Starwood hotels or resorts.
