Amazon.com $30 off $60 when you use just 1 Membership Rewards point! [possibly targeted]

What’s the deal with Amazon.com?

You may already know that you can shop with Amex Membership Rewards points at Amazon.com, for part of or all of your order. Right now, many readers are reporting success with this current promotion of $30 off $60 off anything on Amazon.com, when you link your Amex MR account and use just one Membership Rewards point!

The promotion was originally due to end on July 11th, 2017, but has been extended to the end of the month. You may have recently seen this offer and you were unsuccessful when trying, but it could actually work now, as some people who were previously untargeted are now targeted. Also, as reported by Doctor of Credit, if it didn’t work for you on a PC, for instance, it could work for you on the app, and 50% off Amazon is worth trying different platforms to get it to work.

How do I get the Amazon.com deal?

Link your Membership Rewards account with Amazon here first of all.

Add at least $60 of eligible products that are sold and shipped by Amazon.com to your cart and choose to pay with your linked Amex card with MR points. You can use even just one point and pay the remainder with your card by choosing ‘different amount’.

Then enter the promotional code AMEX17PRIME at checkout and you’ll hopefully see the discount:

What else do I need to know about the Amazon.com deal?

Note that you must be logged into an Amazon.com account which has been active for 90 days or more. If you have only just linked your Membership Rewards account and it doesn’t work straight away, try again after 24 hours, as this has worked for others.

If you still can’t get it to work, Amazon chat may well help you out with a $30 refund!

While it’s not guaranteed to work for everyone, it seems that it is now working for a lot more people than it originally did. Let us know if you’re successful!
