The
Park Inn by Radisson Ekaterinburg (this Russian town is also known as Yekaterinburg) is a simple hotel that feels much like a Mercure or upmarket ibis. It has a perfect location in downtown Yekaterinburg, with lots of options around it.
The hotel has modern rooms and mine was the perfect warmth for the Arctic temperatures of Yekaterinburg.

Everything worked fast and efficiently and the free Internet at 4 Mbit was reliable throughout my stay. Apart from soap boxes in the bathrooms, there's no amenities, though.

I enjoyed a decent breakfast spread at this hotel. There were a few quality items and it looked very much like the breakfast at the
Radisson Blu in Latvia's Riga that I had a few weeks ago.

The friendly staff at this property speak fluent English and rates are just $50 in winter.
