Chase Sapphire Elite card to be launched in August 2016?

Chase Sapphire Elite

Rumor has it…

There’s rumors abound of a new Chase premium card being released next month, likely with the moniker Sapphire Elite or Sapphire Reserve. A Reddit user recently published various facts about the card before then deleting the post some hours later:

The lowdown…

While the card has not been officially confirmed yet, it is said to offer a huge sign-up bonus of 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points with an as yet unknown minimum spend requirement. This premium card is said to definitely be a Visa Infinite product, but no other details have been leaked, so we don’t know the annual fee cost (but expect it to be high) and no-one is sure of its benefits or earning structure yet.

Don’t forget…

The card is of course currently only a rumor and hasn’t been confirmed or denied by Chase as yet, but with trusted sources updating the information out there, and the fact that Chase apparently got a patent in May for ‘Sapphire Reserve’, it’s looking likely that on August 21st, 2016 or before, we’ll see this new premium credit card.

You may want to hold off on some Chase applications right now, just in case this card is part of the 5/24 rule!
