With this card you earn 2 points per dollar spent on travel and restaurant dining and 1 point per dollar everywhere else.

Alaska Airlines Chip Visa Signature Black CardEarn 25,000 bonus miles upon approval with the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card. The annual fee of $75 is not waived in the first year and you can get a Coach Companion Fare every year from $121. With this card you earn 3 miles per dollar spent on Alaska Airlines tickets, Vacation packages and Cargo purchases, 3 miles per dollar spent on all in-flight purchases and 1 point per dollar everywhere else.

discoverThe Discover it Miles card doesn’t offer a sign-up bonus, but instead doubles all your miles earned in your first year. There’s no annual fee, no foreign transaction fees and no blackout dates you can fly any airline, any time. With this card you earn 1.5x miles per dollar spent on purchases and it’s unlimited earning. You can redeem your miles in any amount to credit travel purchases from your statement, or choose cash instead. Plus you’re credited up to $30 for in-flight WiFi purchases every year.

For 2015, Discover has promised to double your cashback earning and has also added a generous 10% Apple Pay Cashback promotion (which also doubles, but note that gift cards are excluded).
