Did you know that Starwood regularly targets elite members (Gold and Platinum) with bonus earning offers?
Just last week some Flyertalk members received an email like this:
Eligible member must register by November 30, 2015, 11:59 p.m. EST. Member can earn 4,000 bonus Starpoints® after fourth (4) eligible paid stay, 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the eighth (8) eligible paid stay, and 4,000 bonus Starpoints after the twelfth (12) eligible paid stay. As part of this promotion, member may earn a maximum of 12,000 total bonus Starpoints for 12 eligible stays from October 1, 2015, through December 31, 2015 (the “promotion period”). This promotion is not transferable. Bookings made prior to the promotion period are eligible, but only eligible stays consumed during the promotion period will earn a bonus.
An eligible stay is a stay with at least 1 eligible paid night at any of the over 1,200 participating Starwood hotels and resorts paying an eligible paid rate during the promotion period. An eligible rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest® program. Free Night Awards and Cash & Points Award nights are not eligible toward promotional Starpoints earnings.
All of these promotions are targeted to the member but you may have been targeted and never received the email.
No problem – you can sign up for the promotion using these links:
This will only work if you were actually targeted. It did not work for me though I have been a Starwood elite for almost 10 years now.
Try your luck and let me know what happened. This post is tagged with: Marriott Starwood
