During my adventures with Iberia I also had the chance to visit the Iberia Business Lounge Madrid (Schengen) near the HJK gates in the Schengen area.

Iberia Business Class Lounge Madrid – Access Policy
A Oneworld Sapphire Status will get you in or a Business Class ticket on Iberia. There is a separate Priority Pass lounge about 5 minutes walk away – Priority Pass won’t get you into the lounge.
Iberia Business Class Lounge Madrid – Drinks
The lounge isn’t cookie cutting on drinks for sure! There are each 4 different Spanish red and white wines on offer. There are also a number of different beer brands (bottles and cans) and 10 different sorts of sherry. Besides that all sorts of non-alcoholic drinks are on offer. The espresso maker produces decent coffee too.
Iberia Business Class Lounge Madrid – Food
The lounge has no hot food items (the non-Schengen lounge does have it though). There are packaged sandwiches and bread on offer. You can combine that with Spanish style salami (Chorizo) and French cheese.
Häagen-Dazs ice cream makes for a delicious dessert.
Iberia Business Class Lounge Madrid – WiFi
The WiFi codes are displayed on the departure monitors (never saw that before) and change daily. The WiFi is an extension of the Public Internet for the airport.
Uploads were super fast at 10 Mbit but the downloads were more like 2 Mbit. Still not bad for an airport WiFi.
Iberia Business Class Lounge Madrid – Showers
The lounge has small showers that seem brand new. There should be 6 showers in the lounge – there does not seem to be a wait usually.
Iberia Business Class Lounge Madrid – Summary
For a solely intra-European lounge – this one is pretty good. It’s not a full meal but the snacks are good quality and teh drinks are excellent. There is penty of seating space outside the rush hour (3-5 PM usually) when most Ibera flights leave.
