What’s the deal with the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card?
We recently posted a great offer for the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card – 50,000 miles when you spend $3,000 in 3 months as well as $50 statement credit. To see the offer page, you had to do a dummy flight booking though United’s website.
However, there’s now a public link to get the 50,000 sign-up bonus, which you can reach by clicking as normal instead of having to do a dummy booking. There’s no $50 statement credit with this offer, though.
We wrote about the United MileagePlus Explorer before when the bonus reached 50,000 points and also posted an introduction to the card.
50k is an excellent bonus for a great card, but you can also earn another 5,000 bonus miles when you add an authorized user and another 10,000 bonus miles when you spend $25,000 in net purchases on your card each year – meaning you could earn a total of 65,000 bonus MileagePlus with this card!
Also, the $95 annual fee is waived for the first year, you get your first checked bag for free, priority boarding, 2 United Club passes per year and there are no fees on foreign transactions.
