Virgin America has today launched flights to Hawaii.
This long-expected move will put the airline in competition with United, Hawaiian and Alaska on the San Francisco to Honolulu (HNL) and San Francisco to Maui (OGG) routes.
Flights are expected to start Nov 2nd.
The $398 fares from San Francisco have been loaded for a number of days in November, December and January. SFO to Hawaii can be had for just about this price most of the year, though I’d pay a bit of a premium for traveling with Virgin America.
