American Airlines has stopped some of (if not all of) its on-board duty free shopping

What’s the scoop?

American Airlines has reportedly stopped selling duty free on-board some of its aircraft. However, the on-board shopping page above (minus the gravestone!) seems to show that all duty free has ceased.
American Airlines hasn’t yet made an official announcement, although they spoke to TRBusiness to say that due to a disagreement with their vendor, only select international flights would be affected.
In a similar twist, last year Delta ceased selling duty free items over a disagreement with the vendor,  but it also announced that it would not be replacing that vendor and instead simply stopped all in-flight sales.
Rest in peace, AA duty free!
