Citi Easy Deals is Citi's members-only benefit savings program, where you can use points to get cheaper online merchandise from over 300,000 deals. No matter what you purchase with your points, shipping is always free!

The merchandise available to buy includes:

- Electronics
- Apparel and accessories
- Gift cards
- Coupons
- Travel offers

Is free to use?

There is no fee to pay to use the site and only eligible Citi cardholders can benefit from its services.

How do I register with

It's easy to register for the program. Just click on Get Started here to be verified as a Citi cardholder, before creating a login and password.

What are the travel deals on

You can use your points to save on car rentals and hotel stays. There are over 20,000 properties to choose from, including famous brands such as Best Western, Wyndham Worldwide, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Hyatt and InterContinental.

Select the location and preferred dates and you can start searching for your deal. As of July and August 2014, customers using this way to book their next break save an average of 18%.

Plus every week, the site has a Top Travel Deals section to help you get more out of your points.

So is Citi Easy Deals a good deal?

In my book, any saving is worth having, but an average saving of 18% on travel deals isn't spectacular. You may well find a better deal just by comparison shopping instead.

Don't assume that a deal on Citi Easy Deals can't be beaten and at least compare using one comparison site before booking.

It helps that Citi Easy Deals has a low price guarantee in place - they will give you double the difference back if you find the same deal at a lower qualifying price!
