Wyndham Vacation Resorts – an Introduction

What is Wyndham Vacation Resorts?

Wyndham Vacation Resorts is part of Club Wyndham, which has five Wyndham Vacation Ownership brands. It's the world's largest vacation ownership business (measured by resort and unit number as well as vacation ownership interests).

With more then 80 resorts and 13,800 units spread across North America and the Caribbean, Wyndham Vacation Resorts currently services around 527,000 owner-families.

What is vacation ownership?

If you've heard of timeshare, this is it. More than one owner agree to use the same vacation property at particular times. In theory, it can mean you spend less as you share the cost. You could save on hotel expenses and on food by cooking at your vacation home rather than eating out, with the bonus of sharing the cost of the property with others.

What to do next with Wyndham Vacation Resorts?

You can check out the resorts offered, read about the ins and outs of vacation ownership with Wyndham Vacation Resorts and also request more information.

You will most probably then be invited to attend a 'presentation' to discuss vacation ownership. This is usually a trip away for 2 nights including flights and accommodation (you usually just need to pay the taxes and fees yourself).

This 'free trip' comes with a compulsory timeshare grilling (if you Google search 'Wyndham Vacation Resorts' you will see many complaints about the notorious hard-sell at these presentations). Be prepared to say no several times if you decide you are not interested!

Good luck with your timeshare journey!
