Delta Economy – Save up to $3 off each in-flight beverage

Posted on August 13, 2014 by in Delta Skymiles

If you're likely to be sitting in a premium class or you're a Medallion or SkyPriority member who gets free drinks on Delta flights, you could be lucky enough to not benefit from this post 😉 But weary Economy travelers like myself could always do with a voucher for money off in-flight booze.

You can purchase an in-flight beverage voucher online in advance of your Delta flight, "saving up to $2 off your beer, wine split or cocktail".

However, Delta recently increased some of the prices of their in-flight adult beverages, so with this voucher you can still get these drinks for less than their old retail price. Some drinks now cost $8, so you actually save up to $3 per drink with a voucher that costs $5 😉

Now a couple of bucks isn't a whole lot, but if you're going to be drinking in the air anyway, you'll be saving up to 37.5% off each drink with each voucher (whereas before the price increase you were saving up to 28.5% off each drink) and that's pretty neat.

You can buy Trip Extras such as in-flight beverage vouchers when booking a flight, managing your itinerary in My Trips, or during check-in either online or at a Delta airport kiosk. You can also purchase any Trip Extras using the FlyDelta app for iPhone, iPad or Android device.

Buy your vouchers HERE for $5 each.
